To Rose Or Not To Rose
by Brian Harp

In the past few years, Rose wines have seen a resurgence. They impressed us with light refreshing sun kissed wines to darker more complex fares. Not to be mistaken for a White Zinfandel. Rose wines are derived from the many hearty red grapes – Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah, Pinot Noir – White Zinfandel is from, well, I have no idea.
A Rose can be slightly sweet or lightly dry. The structure will depend on the grape and the length of time the skin was left during the fermenting process.
For that perfect daytime wine, you will never go wrong with a Rose. Whether looking for the perfect lunch pairing or relaxing on the front porch, I always turn to a Rose.
Looking for a unique toasting experience for your Spring or Summer wedding, or for any outdoor function? A Sparkling Rose will add a unique experience to any special occasion.
